I. TITLE: GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION SERVICES and PRODUCTION OF NAMRIA


INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNICATION (IEC) MATERIALS

1. DESCRIPTION

The project undertakes communication and client-focused activities geared towards


the promotion and provision of the agency products and services. It also generates
data on client needs and client perceptions. The project is also engaged in information
packaging and press relations geared towards generating and increasing media and
public awareness and understanding of the role of the agency in national development.
The project is conducted regularly through the following components:

2. Client Services 57.50%


This involves the provision of data/inquiry services and other activities that are
aimed at providing enhanced services to clients. For the year 2017, this component
proposes to undertake the following activities:

1.1. Provision of Client Services (38.50%)


1.1.1. Information and Client Service Unit (ICSU)
1.1.2. Map Sales Office (MSO)
1.1.3. Archives
1.1.4. NAMRIA Geomatics Training Center (NGTC)

1.2. Operation of MSO (19.00%)

2.1. Implementation of Promotional and Marketing Activities
2.1.1. NAMRIA information campaign/event/presentation/
orientation/focus group discussion (2.25%)
2.1.2. Exploratory meetings/discussions with national government
agencies, local government units, geomatics practitioners,
and private companies for their geospatial data and service
service requirements (2.00%)
2.1.3. Conduct of tours/visits/conference (6.00%)
2.1.4. Conduct of MSO and ICSU assemblies (1.25%)

3.1. Preservation and organization of archival materials located at
GISD Archives (7.00%)
3.2. Updating of the NAMRIA Records Disposition Schedule (2.0%)

4.2. Provision of the following services: editorial/writing, setting up of exhibit,
photo and video documentation, and graphic arts and digital layout design
