Are there differences between Germany and the Netherlands?

More and more immigrants in both countries get a diploma. Also in both countries
several migrants are going to study at a University. In an article is found that
immigrants in Germany have more difficult to move forward than in the
Netherlands. In addition, the unemployment in Germany is greater among the
immigrants than in the Netherlands. Why this is not known. Probably has to do
with the 90 's. Then there was already a lot of unemployment in Germany.

Does the migration background influence the employability? If yes

why?
Immigrants are suffering on the Dutch labour market. The reason being, is that
immigrants get a flexible contract more frequently than Dutch employees. This
makes them faster unemployed. The economic crisis of 2008 had also to do with
it. The workers of Turkish and Moroccan origin were then fired first. In addition,
many immigrants are on welfare. According to some plays also a role in
discrimination and low training here. Employers choose than previously for dutch
employes than immigrants.
Does migration background influence the education and the social
status? If yes why
Because migrants often less educated and less chance of a job affects their social
status. The social status of migrants is often lower than their native peers.
However the children of these migrants probably higher chances that their social
status will rise. This increase will be more than native citizens. Immigrants have
more often a lower vocational level. The reason is not specifically known.
