Kidney disease is one cause of death in Indonesia where an increasing of
patients until today, which is based on a survey Association of Internal Medicine
Indonesia (PAPDI) in 1990 and 1992 showed that 13% of the approximately 50,000
patients hospitalized in Indonesia suffers kidney failur.
The researchers' goal was to determine the characteristics of patients with
renal failure who are hospitalized in the general hospital center Wahidin
Sudirohusodo, month January 2016 - June 2016.
The method of this research is using descriptive study, using total sampling
design of medical records. In this study there were 114 medical records were
collected, and who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria are 71 medical records.
Based on the research conducted, kidney failure patients the highest
experienced by patients with age 60 years, the most widely experienced by patients
with male sex, with the highest disease etiology Hypertension
