Mission Base News

Every few months all the staff of our mission base gather for an update on what the Lord is doing it is always a
great time of rejoicing together! Our first gathering of the year was on Thursday, Feb. 9, and this month we wanted
to give you an inside view come on in and rejoice with us!
Daniel Lim gave us a report from this years One Thing Global Leadership Summit. This is the 4th consecutive
year that we have invited international leaders from the global Body of Christ to join us during our One Thing
conference on Dec 28-31 for special meetings & prayer times together. Our desire has been for these annual
gatherings to be used by the Lord to inspire and equip leaders from around the world, especially those whose desire is
to lead their congregations and ministries into a culture of prayer. To date, over 1,400 leaders have attended these
gatherings, and this year with the Lords help they began to form specific strategy on how to unite for greater impact.

The Lord highlighted to these leaders 4,000 global mega zones which contain massive population numbers
throughout the earth, and has given them a heart to plant a 24/7 prayer center in every one of these zones, where
churches and believers will unite to raise up fiery day-and-night intercession for their regions. A focus of these
prayer centers will be to pray for evangelism and mighty harvests of souls. Many leaders from the U.S. who were at
the gathering spoke up and said We need this too, it is time to re-evangelize America! They began to identify
precincts throughout the U.S. to target for raising up regional prayer centers and outreaches. One strategy the Lord
gave these leaders from the nations was to begin to mentor & raise up new, young leaders who would run with this
vision for the next 20-30 years. There was a challenge for 500 senior leaders to mentor 5,000 young leaders, who in
turn would mentor 100,000 younger, emerging leaders. In this new techie generation, this group has also
developed an app which will connect them together for this great work to which the Lord is calling them.

The stirring for evangelism and harvest continued at our all-

staff gathering, as two of our leaders spoke about the
connection the Lord is strengthening right now between
IHOPKC and Every Home for Christ. EHC is a global
missions organization based in Colorado Springs, CO which
began in 1946 as World Literature Crusade, and was later
renamed and gripped with a vision to do just what their name
says reach Every Home for Christ! Similar to our connect
with YWAM, the Lord has given us a special relationship with
EHC almost from our beginning. In fact, some 20 or so of our
IHOPKC leadership have transitioned to Colorado Springs in
the past few years to be a part of their missions school, and to assist EHC with raising up global prayer as part of
their ministry. The big news shared this month at our meeting is that Every Home for Christ is coming to
Grandview! They will be opening a ministry base here and we will be partnering with them in reaching every home
in Grandview with a gospel presentation. Who knows what all is in the Lords heart perhaps the vision will expand
to reach all 2 million people in the KC metro with the gospel of Jesus Christ! The leaders of EHC say this is a pilot
program they will use to begin reaching the cities and communities of America.

 Every Home for Christ staff and volunteers have taken nearly 4 billion gospel messages to over 1.8 billion homes
worldwide.
Every Home outreaches have been conducted in 200 nations around the world. EHC is currently doing active
outreaches in 130 nations.
There have been documented over 173 million decisions for Christ through EHCs door-to-door outreaches.
In places without an established local church, Every Home for Christ forms new Christ Groups to disciple new
believers. Over 297,000 groups have been planted in the course of Every Home for Christ's history.
We are honored to be partnering with such a fruitful ministry as EHC. While their history is impressive, something they
shared with us recently amazed us! They reported that since their partnership with IHOPKC and others in the global prayer
movement, as well as their own ministrys turning their attention to prayer in a major way, they have seen astounding
increase from 500,000 decisions for Christ per year, to 11 MILLION A YEAR! In fact, in the past 5 years they have
seen 70 million souls come to Christ through their door-to-door outreaches. Praise the Lord!

Life is Winning Again

These were the words of our new Vice President, Mike Pence, spoken at the National March for Life in Washington D.C.
on January 27. In the 44 years since Roe V. Wade, he is the first sitting member of the executive branch of government
to attend and to address the March for Life. Several of our friends & associates were there. Both Betty & Tony, our
prayer partners on the sidewalk and fellow members of our IHOPKC Life team (Isaiah 40 Initiatives) were in D.C. for
the March. Ruth, the director of Advice & Aid the Christian pregnancy resource center with a new location next to
Planned Parenthood in Overland Park was at the March for Life as well. We have heard first-hand their amazing and
encouraging reports, and we are prayerfully believing this is the beginning of a great SHIFT and turning of the tide
toward becoming a PRO-LIFE nation once again.
While we were not able to attend the March for Life, we had the privilege of
hearing David Daleiden speak here in Kansas City on Feb 7 th at the Kansans for
Life annual banquet. David Daleiden is the founder of the Center for Medical
Progress, which in 2015 released a series of videos from their undercover
investigative reporting of Planned Parenthood. These videos show multiple PP
staff, directors, and abortionists discussing the sale of aborted babies body parts,
including pricing schemes and altering abortion procedures for more valuable
intact specimens. As a result of these videos 26 STATES HAVE NOW PASSED
LEGISLATION to defund Planned Parenthood. The videos David and his team
produced have also had a direct impact on the U.S. Congresss discussions to strip Our friend and sidewalk counselor,
PP of the half-billion dollars a year they receive in federal funds. Annie, with David Daleiden.

Before David spoke, a woman named Pat shared a story from 20 years ago, when in 1997 she received a phone call at the
Kansans for Life office which was from a man who was weeping. He was a procurement technician and these were
the early days of buying body parts from abortion clinics. He came to the KFL office and said he just could not do this
anymore, and his reason was that earlier that day he had looked into the bucket of aborted babies, and there was a set
of twins, still alive and hugging each other. This story ended up being featured by reporter Chris Wallace on the
program 20/20. Here is the amazing connection: David Daleiden told us that it was seeing this previously aired program
from 1997 that inspired and motivated him to re-visit this issue and do his investigative report on Planned Parenthood.
The city and abortion clinic featured in that 1997 video which inspired David Daleiden? Overland Park, KS the very
Planned Parenthood where we spend so many hours on the sidewalk praying and intervening for the lives of children.
David showed slides of actual procurement logs that technicians had filled out as they harvested the baby parts. We
saw listed, the childs gender, the gestational age (21 weeks, 24 weeks, etc), and then listed in the right hand column
were all the different body parts that were harvested: legs, arms, pancreas, liver, eyes, brain. David said what hit him
so hard as he began to see all of this was that the body parts are only valuable for Planned Parenthood and their business
partners to sell and profit from because they are human, just like us.
In the past few years prior to David and his teams release of their report, there had been a resurgence of procurement
middle-men start-up companies doing this gruesome work. Some are now beginning to close their doors. You can see

Last word: While this is so hard to comprehend, it is what has been taking place for the last 44 years in
America, as we have not only taken the lives of 58 million babies, but allowed the merchants to profit from their
little bodies. Enough is enough! May the Lord give grace as we continue to contend for the ending of abortion.
