What we have done?

What we have to do?
Project plan
o On a Google presentation. When we are ready,
we will convert it to online ppt or online book.
o One activity presented on one page.
Link to the presentation.

the project plan.

Methodology and Competences

Why?
o Well explained teaching
and learning methods as
well as competences
students develop, add
points.
o Even when variety of
teaching methods are used
and many goals are
accomplished, if they are
not well described in the
application, this take away
point from the project
evaluation.
Self evaluation worksheet
for students for all project task

o One worksheet with the name of all tasks.

o Three possible answers after the activity is done.
Example: How do I feel about this task?
Answers:
I feel like an expert!
I feel so-so.
I feel confused.
Who will create this worksheet?
Tools we used

o Collect used online tools

on a Google document.

o Create Symbaloo and upload

in TwinSpace.

Why? Creative use of ICT add points

to our project evaluation.

Getting to know each other
o Create a study set Learn in https://quizlet.com/ about some of your
students, not more than 10, and upload on the page under avatars.

o Example: She is Polish. She has got long curly hear. She likes dogs. Who is
she?
Children from other teams will write the answer.
Take pictures that approve that children do this and guess their friends.
Voting for a logo
http://www.tricider.com/brainstorming/2xLeNI20Ujx

o Is it possible for
children to vote without
having the account?
o Is it possible to vote from
one PC many times?
( I have only one computer
in my classroom. )
Stay safe online
Under the e-safety and Copywrite issues there is a link to
a google document. Ask children to suggest and write rules for
good online behavior in our big international team Netiquette.
Exploring the rainbow
o From all teams discoveries, we will create an online book.
o To illustrate the text, upload only childrens drawings.
o No photos from the Internet in the book.
o No copy and paste text for any topic. Try to summarize the text,
to change it slightly. Retell the text.
Drawing mandalas
o Students draw mandalas but dont colour them.
o They upload their drawings on the google presenation.
o Then they write their name, class, school and country in the right
corner of the page.
o Children from other teams colour mandalas, created by other children.
Why?
At the end of this activity we will have an online book with
mandalas: the first part of the book will be with black and white mandalas,
the second one with coloured mandalas.
What are the benefits of this activity?
o Children practice drawing with rulers and compasses.
o The activity can be done both in Math and in Art classes.
o Activity develop students concentration which is a key to success in all
school subjects and in real life, too.
o Aggressive students calm down through this activity.
o Students expand their knowledge about the colour theory, colour
harmony and the use of Colour wheel in the real life. (I will add more
information on the presentation of the colour wheel.
o Students will be asked to colour the mandalas according to the colour
harmony.

To be or not to be?
Make the rainbow
If you have more than two photos for one activity, please create a collage
or a presentation. Pages will become too long if we upload lots of photos. Besides,
it is very low evaluated if we present our work with photos. Think of creative
presentation of the activities(at least collage).
Kids Science Experiments
How we can make a rainbow?
How we can see the rainbow?
o Collect kids experiments in online book with photos.
o Children explain the experiment very briefly.
o Illustrate the experiment with photos they take.
o School subject: Nature Studies
Reading club
A poem
o We are waiting for other children to write the collaborative poem.
o This is our first task in mixed teams. The task is easy but at the end we will
have shared final product.
The Thankful Coat
Please, tell me the story!
Please, upload a picture to start writing a story.
Eat the rainbow
The rainbow glossary is almost ready!
Take pictures of children while they
are writing on the document.
Healthy rainbow book
Create a video how children cook the recipe.
Singing the rainbow
Three tasks described in the page.
No more activities will be added.
Panel game/ quiz
Collaborative team work

o This will be the second work in mixed teams.

o I will create Google presentation with tables divided by categories. Ask
children what team they would like to belong to.
o Then add the names in the tables.

Thankful coat
Martin Mateo
BG Italy

o Each team will write questions about different topics of our project: light,
Christmas challenges, Thankful coat, colour wheel, mandalas and so on.
o The questions must have the answer in the Twinspace of the project, not
to search on the Internet for the answer.
o The question uploaded by the children from one team will be answered
by the children from another team.
o When the children find the answer, they will code it with a QR code
generator and upload the QR code under the question.
o Then the children from the first team will use QR code reader to check if
answers are true.
o The number of questions uploaded by each team will be ? . (We must
decide according to the numbers of the real participants in the project)

It will look like this, but it is in Bulgarian.

I use this idea for my national project.
Tips to remember
It is highly evaluated if:
o we have shared products after each project activity;
o students collaborate in mixed international teams in more activities and
create shared products;
o the activities are suggested by the kids;
o Copywrite, e-safety and Netiquette issues are taken into accout;
o project results are disseminated both in TwinSpace and a common
blog/website; national and international level newspapers, online/ on-
site events, Social Media
o we dont present our work only with photos and presentation. Video with
kids doing the activity is the best way to show how the work was done. It
is good if we record how children talk and explain the activity.
Tips to remember
o children have active profiles in TwinSpace and communicate
via forums and via their profiles.

o in teachers corner and in the forums there is evidence of real collaboration:

one teacher leaves messages to the other.
o all students are involved in TwinSpace
Tips to remember

o Start to write articles for newspapers, educational magazines

to promote the project, if possible.
o Common website if not all partners are responsible to transfer their
activities in the website, I cant do this alone.
o Not all tasks must be done with the whole class. It will take a long time to
do all activities with all children. I have 24 children in my class and I
divided them in small groups and gave them different tasks to do.
Activities for small groups: writing the two lines of the poem about
different colours; writing a story, rainbow glossary, record the best
rainbow piano players of the song Twinkle, twinkle, little star Play the
song with everyone, record the best players.
It is time to meet online
o For a chat: What are you thankful about?
o For an online quiz Kahoot.
o Ask children to go to the Forums. I will create a Forum for them, for real
friends conversation.
o I would like to inform you that online meetings after the April will be difficult
for me we have very hard exams. Please, lets do this meetings in March.
o How many teams we have in our project? According to the Padlets with
Avatars, there are 11 classes involved in the project and 7 schools.
o Will all teams do the project work? We must now this for the rest of our
activities especially for the Panel game. Please, write the students names in
the Forum. There is a Google document: link
o Till now there are over 200 children. I am a little bit lost about organizing
them in collaborative tasks. If we divide them in groups how many children
in one group? 40? For a panel game how many questions from children from
one class in the each team there will be children form 11 classes. 1 question
from each class? Is that enough?
Am I a superhero?
Of course, NO. I dont have extra powers. But if we unit
our own powers, we will have the extra power as a team
and we can do many thing together.
Please, dont be late with
the project work!
It is a hard work, but it is possible to do it if we all work at the same time,
on the same topic.
