Elastomers used in down-hole, drilling and recovery operations are exposed

Zetpol 2010 Zetpol 1020 FKM-GF FKM NBR XNBR High-temperature/high-pressure resistance with minimal/no loss of properties
Oil, fuel and diesel resistance at elevated temperatures (150C)
Minimum volume swell after prolonged fluid, heat and steam exposure
Low compression set

Tensile Strength at Elevated temperature
Explosive decompression resistance

Amine corrosion inhibitor resistance
Zetpol 2010
Sour environment resistance to both liquid- and gas-phase hydrogen sulfide
Zetpol 1020
Excellent extrusion properties for defect-free parts.

Strength (MPa)processing and recovery operations. To be
effective, an elastomer should not swell or soften when exposed to steam.

FKM, NBR and XNBR are severely degraded when exposed to steam for
168 hours at 150C. FKMs suffer a large drop in hardness and NBR becomes
brittle. Zetpol 2010 is largely unaffected by the long-term exposure to steam.
