of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE), the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA), and obtained a MSC
Malaysia status, MEDIU offers several types of courses & degrees via Online (Distance Learning) &
Conventional Campus Base mode of study.

ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

Full Professor , Associate Professor, Assistant Professor for Centre of Languages / Faculty of Education
/ Faculty of Computer & Information Technology / Finance and Administrative Science / Institute of
Post Graduate Studies (Based in Malaysia).
Responsibilities:
To position the faculty within national education policy, core business MEDIU
with regards to research, teaching and community interaction
Facilitating with the management of academic departments and centers, a process for
an action plan through which the facultys contribution
To achieve the strategic goals of the University
To market the faculty nationally and internationally and ensuring the wellbeing of facultys staff
and students.

Requirements:
PhD in related field.
Minimum of 6 years of working experience in tertiary education.
Proven string research and teaching ability at tertiary education.
Sound leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.
Candidates with knowledge in ICT applications in related fields preferred.
Lecturer (Certain vacancies are based in Cairo & Malaysia)
Faculty of Islamic Sciences / Faculty of Language (Arabic and English) / Faculty of Information
Technology / Faculty of Finance & Administrative Science / Faculty of Education
Responsibilities:
Responsible to the overall teaching and learning exercises of a particular subject.
To ensure that the learning objectives and outcomes of the subject are achieved.
To ensure that the University program and curricular are implemented in a way that maximizes
student learning experiences.
Supervise and evaluate of all student within his/her teaching assignment.

Requirements:
Master or PhD or professional qualification in related field.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the same position.
Proven teaching ability at tertiary education.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English, additional languages is an
advantage.
Candidates with knowledge in ICT applications in related fields preferred.

LIBRARY

Senior Librarian / (Based in Malaysia)


Responsibilities:
To supervise and to be responsible for the affairs related to the Library Department and the
units under it in the areas of planning, strategy, organization, development, administration,
functions, communication and services.
Evaluates library services and makes recommendations for improvements; works with elected
officials, and other organizations to develop programs and resolve problems.
Administers maintenance of library facilities.
Reviews and approves selection of all materials for purchase.
Participates in professional meetings, conferences and workshops.
Participates in organizational management through the committee process.
Reads professional materials to update and maintain knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
Master or PhD or professional qualification in related field (Library Sciences / Library &
Information Science).
Minimum 3 years experienced in similar position.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.
Prior relevant working experience in college education/industry is an advantage
Possesses initiative, the ability to think independently and a passion for academic excellence.
Candidates with knowledge in ICT applications in related fields preferred.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

Manager, Business Management Systems Department (quality & ISO certification) (Based in Malaysia)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review the regulations, policies, procedures and forms of the department and
submit recommendations regarding improving them.
Responsible to set the departments annual quantitative objectives (quality objectives) and
prepare the plans to achieve those objectives
Responsible for develop and maintain the administrative system of records that can potentially
be used for development and maintenance.
Responsible for ensure systematic compliance with university document control systems and to
ensure all divisions within the university comply with this system.
Responsible for organize, train, foster, administrative activities related to document control and
archive administration.
Perform other tasks related to this position as assigned by the Head of Division or Top
Management Committee.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the field of Business Management System
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English, additional languages is an
advantage.
Candidates with knowledge in ICT applications in related fields preferred.

Manager, Project Management Department (Based in Malaysia)


Responsibilities:
Responsible to manage, monitor, and control all project variables throughout all project phases
from initiation, planning, execution, and closing.
To be solely responsible for delivering the project deliverables within scope, on time, according
to the quality criteria agreed upon, and with the budget assigned to the project.
Perform other tasks related to this position as assigned by the Head of Division or Top
Management Committee.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the field of Project Management or Project
Management Professionals (PMP) certification with 2-3 years experience in Project
Management
Must be well knowledgeable with practical experience in project cycle, product cycle and the
relations between the two
Must have excellent people management skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal and
organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English, additional languages is an
advantage.
Candidates with knowledge in ICT applications in related fields preferred.

TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

Senior Analyst Programmer / Analyst Programmer (.NET)


Requirement:
Candidate must possess Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience as .Net Developer. For senior position at least 3-4 years
working experience in C# programming using Object Oriented methodology.
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) on Microsoft .NET technologies would be
advantageous.
Experience in using .NET technologies (ASP.Net,C#,VB.NET), .NET Framework v1.1, v2.0, v3.0
Knowledge in Agile Methodology, Test Driven Design (TDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD) and
SCRUM would be advantageous.
Other knowledge and experiences in ; MS SQL Server (2000/ 2005 preferred), DB programming
Client-server programming, Design using UML, Developing using MS Visual Studio.
Eager to learn new technologies.

PHP Analyst Programmer


Requirement:
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience as PHP Developer.
Well versed in PHP language and MySQL database (ie the LAMP/ WAMP stack) and system
integrations using web services (eg with NuSOAP).
Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server is an added advantage.
Familiar with Moodle LMS and SCORM.

Administrative Officer
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in any discipline
Minimum 1 year working experience
Pleasant personality and good communication skills in English (compulsory) and / or Arabic and
/ or Bahasa Melayu.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements
Minimum STPM / Diploma (optional) with 1 year experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu, call handling and customer service
