Claim the Favor of the Emperor tile,
provided that you can fulfill the require-
ments. You may not claim a different tile

the face-up tile this round.
Buy A Legion
(Immediately)
Immediately buy a legion, paying the
cost to the stock. The cost is equal to the
sum of card values of the current Leg-
ate set.
Laurel Wreaths
(Field of Mars Evaluation)
Discard as many card pairs as the Field
of Mars has unoccupied follower spac-
es. Pairs must be made up of cards of
the same faction. For each discarded
card pair, you receive one laurel.
Denarii
(Multiple Occasions)
Latrine: Receive denarii equal to the
cards value if the Latrine is unoccupied.
If the Latrine is occupied and the occu-
pying player chooses to buy the card,
receive the denarii from that player in-
stead.
Coin Bowl: Receive 1 denarii from the
stock for each follower placed on the
coin bowl.
Chariot: Receive the denarii paid by the
player who won the auction. You may
not take part in the auction.
