Mr. Doy: A pleasant morning to everybody! Today is not
just an ordinary day for us citizens of Quezon City, but
rather, a new and fresh day to jumpstart the week and the
beginning of our most awaited ber months.

Mr. Doy: But before all of that, we would like to

acknowledge the presence of the Honorable Wanda Tulfo-
Teo, Secretary of the Department of Tourism; our beloved
Mayor, the Hon. Herbert Bautista; former Tourism
Secretary, Mina Gabor; Quezon City Tourism Councils
Ms. Teta Tirona; tourism delegates, members of
media, Cultural and Tourism Affairs staff, and to our
guests, good morning to all of you! We thank you for
taking your time to attend this special event with us as we
welcome a new day for Quezon City Tourism.

Mr. Doy: To officially open this special event, let us all

welcome the OIC of the Tourism Department of Quezon

people of Quezon City, right? But thats only the start for
this event, for we have a lot prepared for all of you, our
esteemed guests.

about it is that we can already access it now! Please, do

also prepared for everyone, new Activity Maps of Quezon
City! From these maps, you can see the fun and exciting
things that Quezon City has to offer, from the wonderful
destinations and places to events in Quezon City that
people are talking about in the city.
Mr. Doy: To talk more about the wonderful places that
define Quezon City, may we call up on stage our beloved
city administrator, Mr. Aldrin Cua, who will introduce our
Guest of Honor.

Mr. Doy: Thank you for that very meaningful and truly
inspiring speech, Mayor! Indeed, theres really more that
Quezon City can offer to everyone, whether you are a
local, or a foreigner coming here. Talaga ngang lahat ay
welcome sa QC!
Mr. Doy: Now, to tell us more about the new programs of
the Quezon City tourism and this Septembers Quezon
City Tourism Summit, please help me in welcoming one of
the countrys pioneer movers of Philippine tourism, former
Tourism Secretary Mina Gabor. Lets all give her a warm
round of applause!

Mr. Doy: Thank you very much for that very insightful talk,
Maam Mina! Surely, everyone will be anticipating whats
more to come for the tourism of Quezon City.
Mr. Doy: At this point I would like to request for the
Honorable Mayor, the Honorable Secretary Wanda Teo,
Secretary Mina Gabor, City Administrator Sir Aldrin Cuna,
and Quezon City Tourism head Divine Pascua to please
come up on stage for a photo op.

answer portion to our esteemed members of the media.
We welcome any questions about the new tourism plans
of Quezon City and the QC Tourism Summit.
Mr. Doy: Exciting things are coming our way, of course,
with the guidance from our city government, indeed may

Again, we would like to thank everybody for being with us

beginning for the tourism of Quezon City.
To our distinguished guests of honor and speakers, thank
you for sharing with us your insights and ideas. Everything
is now set for the tourism of this city and will be truly
successful with all of your help.
