TOPIC: Where to Stand When All Is Shaking Feb. 24th.

2017
When every other foundation crumbles and falls, the promise of Romans 8:32 stands unshakable. The Psalms
62. We need to depend on God. He is Dependable.

In these times we need to depend on God for everything because the days are evil. We need to depend on
Him for our family, work, ministry, and every other area of our lives.
1. What is Dependable?
To be capable of being depended on; it means to be worthy of trust; or reliable.
Trustworthy, reliable, tried and true, safe, secure, or good.
Our God is dependable; you can trust him and you can rely on Him for everything. He is Jehovah
Shammah because He is present everywhere;
We can look up to God because He is the Divine Helper, Creator, Providence, Security, Safety, Protective
Provision, and Divine Constancy.
We can trust Him with all our heart (Prov. 3: 5) because He has promised He will never leave nor forsake
us (Heb. 13: 5).
God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended
on);
2. Trust God all the time all the way! Psalms 62:8
Things might not look the way they ought to be in our life, but if we remain dependent on Him, He will
help us out. In Gen. 21:1 2, the Bible says that And Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord
did unto Sarah as He had spoken, for Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the
set time of which God had spoken to him.
It does not matter how things may look around us, our God will bring to pass all that He has promised us.
Isaiah 55:11 says His words will not return to Him void.
Paul and Silas depended on God and He never failed them. How about Job, he lost everything, he still
depended on God and He was restored. Hannah depended on God and she received the miracle of a
son.
THINGS CHANGE but GOD DOES NOT CHANGE. Heb. 13:8 says "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today, and forever." Because of this, we can depend and trust on His promises in the scriptures
Nothing is too difficult for our God. Jeremiah 32:27. So lets trust Him at all times.

3. Other Reasons to Depend on God

He is bigger than any god. Psalms 135:5
He is our Rock.1 Sam. 22:2-3.
He is trustworthy, faithful and reliable. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
He is the vine; we are the branches. John 15:1. We are His children.
4. Practical ways to Depend on God

Honor the Bible. Listen to Gods instruction. Joshua 1:8
Do right. God never allow good deeds unrewarded. Galatians 6:9. Romans 2:6
Be a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1. 2 Corinthians 12:10.
Abide in Christ. John 15:4
Worry not. Mathew 6:32. 1 Peter 5:7.

No matter the situation, Trust Him. He cares!!!
