Aerosun is the fifth in the world and the only Asian company to
produce RTP who can manufacture about 2000km many kinds of
composite pipe per year. Our products have been not only putting into
use in domestic oil fields of CNOOC, Sinopec, CNPC and so on, but
also putting into overseas onshore & offshore oil fields such as
Southeastern and Middle East, Aerosun product obtaind highly trusted
regarded from multiple applications.

RTP Flexible Pipe History

1980s - French first developed Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP);

2004 - DVGW in Germany issued RTP Standard VP 642 of Transporting

natural gas with pressure more than 16 bar

2006 - API RP 15S for RTP published by API

2006 - International standard organization issued ISO/TS18226 for RTP of

oil & gas using.

Up to now, there are 5 manufacturers all over the world that make RTP
according to API RP 15S, which are Wellstream, Technip, Pipelife,
ZapSibTechnologies and Aerosun.

Milestones

2002 - Aerosun RTP project was awarded with the Authority financial support.
2004 - 2.5-6RTP production line was imported from Germany Krauss-Maffei
2005 - CNPC Oilfields began to use Aerosun RTP.
2007 - 10000hours longterm hydrotest pressure regression qualification by DNV
2008 - Began to sell RTP overseas.
2011 - RTP qualification project awarded by PETRONAS.
2011 - Awarded with RTP industrialization strategic investment for China
offshore riser system .
2012 - 8-12 Large diameter RTP production line was put to use.
2012 - CNOOC Iraq Maysan project accomplished.
2013 - SPEC Q1 certificate by API and DNV type test qualified by DNV.
2013 - PETRONAS 17km subsea inserted RTP project accomplished.
2014 - Began PETRONAS NMP qualification project.
2015 Began PDO RTP qualification project compliance with
SHELL DEP Specification

Onshore RTP structure

RTP for & gas application is one kind of plastic composite flexible pipe for
high pressure, which built with 3 layers, fluid sealing layer, reinforcing layer and
protective layer.

Fluid sealing layer (inner): HDPE, PERT, PEX, PVDF, PPS for transporting
fluid and sealing depending on various temperature.

Reinforcing layerAramid, Polyester or glass fiber for pressure retaining .

Protective layer (cover) HDPE for external protection,

either white for UV resistance or black for buried.
