APPLICATION FOR PRACTICAL TRAINING PLACE

With reference to the above matter, I would like to enquire a place for my students to have a practical training at
your organization. This student is currently in her final year of study for Diploma in Industrial Chemistry at
University Teknologi MARA Perlis. She will be expected to commence training from 5th December 2016 to 10th

2. For your information, Diploma in Industrial Chemistry is a course which combines two main disciplines such
as Analytical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The students have been exposed to various analytical
techniques in Analytical instrument such as Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrometer (UV-Vis), Gas Chromatography
(GC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Infra-Red
Spectroscopy (IR). The students have also been taught the principles of Chemical Engineering such as Unit
Operations, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. The diversity of these courses enables the students to be
placed either in the laboratory/quality control unit or in the processing unit.
