WORD STUDY 1

Messiah (Hebrew) (Strongs Concordance Reference-3323). Messas is a

Hebrew Language literally, the anointed one, referring to Jesus as the

Christ supremely empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish all of the

divine plan. Of Hebrew origin (mashiyach); the Messias (i.e. Mashiach), or

Christ - Messiah. The Greek word for Messiah is Christos- meaning Christ.

(Strongs Concordance Reference -5547) Definition: Anointed One; the

Messiah, the Christ. Jesus is the Christ sent by God.

WORD STUDY 2

Adonai (Strongs Concordance Reference-136) is the Hebrew word for

Lord. The emphatic form of adown; the Lord (used as a proper name of God

only) -- (my) Lord. Ps 110:1 says, The LORD says to my Lord and else

where the Bible says, (Ps 16:2) I say to the LORD, You are my Lord The

Greek work for Adonay is Kurios (Strongs Concordance Reference 2962).

This word is most of the time used to refer to Jesus Christ, especially, when

it addressed to worship Jesus.

The Name Jesus (in English-) or Isous (in Greek Strongs Concordance

Reference: 2424). The word Jesus, is the transliteration of the Hebrew term,

(Jehoshua, contracted to "Joshua" (Strongs Concordance Reference:3091)

which means "Yahweh saves" (or "Yahweh is salvation"). "Jesus Christ" is

properly "Jesus the Christ." "Jesus" is His human name with the divine

nature, as the incarnate, eternal Son of God (Mt 1:21,25, see also Lk 1:31)

the Christ, the divine Messiah (the second Person of the holy Trinity).

Yahweh, originally written with constanant YHWH (Strongs Concordance

Reference:3068). Some translate this name as LORD. This name is proper

name of the God o Israel. God of Israel claimed his name to be the YHWH

(Exodus 3:12-15) which means I AM.

Jesus claimed to be the Ego Eimi meaning I AM (Strongs

Concordance Reference 1510). This term conveys "straight-

forward" being (existence, i.e. without explicit limits). Grammatically this

term is in the present tense, indicative mood can be time-inclusive

("omnitemporal," like the Hebrew imperfect tense). Only

the context indicates whether the present tense also has "timeless"

implications. For instant, the word (eim) is aptly used in Christ's great "I

am" (ego eimi . . . ) that also include His eternality (self-existent life) as

our life, bread, light," etc. See Jn 7:34, 8:58, etc.

 Further, Jesus said, (in John 14:6) "I am the way, the truth and the life.

Here (eim) naturally accords with the fact Christ is eternal maning

"I am (was, will be)." The "I am formula (Gk eg eimi)" harks back to God's

only name, "Yahweh" (OT/3068, "the lord") meaning "He who always was,

is, and will be.
