Topic Communication Process

Time 60 minutes

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able:


(1) To describe the value of effective communication and its
Objective(s) various elements; and
(2) To explain the elements of the communication process, the
best communication approach, and internal and external
barriers.

(1) Give a short overview about communication process.


(2) Group the class with 3-4 members.
(3) In 5 minutes, have the students to choose a topic that interest
them most and discuss among their group mates for a group
presentation.
(4) Then, the students will present their prepared conversations
with situation on a coffee-talk technique and a walk in the
Procedures
park talk in front of the class.
(5) After all the presentation, have the students enumerate and
unravel the functions of the different elements in a
communication process (sender, receiver, message, feedback,
barriers).
(6) With regards to their understanding, have the students record
their phone call conversation (as an assignment).
