System Requirements:
Windows XP SP2
.NET 2.0 Framework
5 GB free space in C: drive

How to Run:
Just run PdfHelper.exe directly
PdfHelper will create c:\temp\pdfhelper as working folder if its not there

How to Merge PDFs:

1. Clean c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder first
2. Put 2 or more PDF files in c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder
3. Launch PdfHelper.exe
4. Click Start
5. Merged result will be in c:\temp\pdfhelper\output
6. The merge sequence is based on input files name sequence

How to Split PDF without control file (page by page splitting):

1. Clean c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder first
2. Put just one PDF file in c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder
3. Launch PdfHelper.exe
4. Click Start
5. Each page will be a new PDF file in c:\temp\pdfhelper\output

How to Split PDF with control file (data driven splitting):

1. Clean c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder first
2. Put just one PDF file and control.txt (control file name has to be control.txt) in
c:\temp\pdfhelper\input folder
3. Launch PdfHelper.exe
4. Click Start
5. The results will be in c:\temp\pdfhelper\output
(see page 2)
Control file format (control file name has to be control.txt):
control.txt has to be pure text file composed by notepad.exe or similar programs
control.txt has to be line by line without any white spaces on top or bottom.

A sample control file looks like this (see the sample control.txt in the zip package):

9,test1
21-200,test2
401-600,test3

9,test1 means splitting 9th page of the original PDF file into test1.pdf
21-200,test2 means splitting page 21 to page 200 of the original PDF file into test2.pdf
401-600,test3 means splitting page 401 to page 600 of the original PDF file into test3.pdf

In the above example, the program will run through 3 lines and create 3 PDF files in the output
folder.
