If yes, in
your opinion how has Facebook impacted the movement?
1. Gathering people with similar ideology
Through Facebook its easy to find like-minded people by seeing their interests, and one
can easily connect with them using wall updates, private messages, and video chats.
2. Event remainder
Event can be created on Facebook. Events can be private or public. Private events are visible to
only people invited and public events are visible to anyone on or off Facebook. Facebook events
automatically send reminders to attendees when particular event is approaching helping to increase a
persons attendance rates on the actual day. This system doesnt let a person to miss the event in which he
expressed his interest earlier or agreed to go.
2. Invisible actors
There are fake profiles and IDs. Now it is easier to create fake profiles using stolen pictures.
People often use fake profiles to insult or harass someone they don't like. Teen girls are the most
vulnerable to these activities. There have been several news stories about people, normally
students, who became depressed or suicidal after being harassed on Facebook. It is yet
impossible for the Facebook authority to trace fake IDs and block them all
