GEICO ADVANTAGE INSURANCE COMPANY

CLAIM NUMBER 055746172-0101-030
LOSS DATE JANUARY 28, 2017
POLICYHOLDER STANLEY CATERBONE

State of PENNSYLVANIA )

)S.S.

County of LANCASTER )

I, STANLEY J. CATERBONE OF LANCASTER PENNSYLVANIA, DO SOLEMNLY DECLARE THAT:

1. On Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10:34am A person who identified themselves as an agent for
GEICO called me while I was at the Duke Street Business Center of the Lancaster County Library
on North Duke Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania regarding the above mentioned claim to hear my
account of the accident. I told the person that I could not talk due to the Library policy, and the
person stayed on the phone until I vacated the Library to the back entrance. First, the GEICO
agent had the date of the incident of December 28, 2016 and kept arguing about the date. I
started to discuss the incident and a Library Staffer told me that I could not smoke in that area,
so I moved off of the Lancaster County Library property to the alley in the back and proceeded
to give my account of the incident. The GEICO agent became hostile and I asked why my
statement was not being recorded. THE GEICO AGENT SAID SHE WAS JUST ASKING
QUESTIONS AND I BERATED HER THAT I WANTED MY STATEMENT RECORDED. SHE
AGAIN BECAME HOSTILE, SO I HUNG UP THE PHONE.

2. Later that day, Thursday February 23, 2017, I uploaded 3 documents and 2 pictures that were
taken the time of the incident.

3. On Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:34am JESSICA BAAS of GEICO left a message that she
needed my recorded statement by February 27, 2017.

4. On Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:17pm I called JESSICA BAAS of GEICO to record my
statement.

5. JESSICA BAAS of GEICO asked a series of routine questions and I answered accurately,
truthfully, and politely. She started by giving me the standard introduction for recording my
statement and I began giving my statement. I started my statement by stating that on
February 13, 2017 I filed a MOTION TO DISMISS WITH LANCASTER COUNTY MDJ
WITKONIS AT HIS OFFICE, the traffic violation for the incident in question and started
to read my MOTION TO DISMISS as background information to my detailed statement of the
incident. JESSICA BAAS of GEICO kept interrupting me after she heard apparently items from
the MOTION TO DISMISS that offended her and her apparent true motive for taking my
statement. I kept going on, as it was my statement, not JESSICA BAAS of GEICO, and she kept
telling me that it was not pertinent to the incident and claim.

6. I ended the conversation by telling her to have GEICO legal counsel to call me.

7. At 7:56pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 I received an email from JESSICA BAAS of GEICO
stating that the claim was paid and GEICO chose to dismiss my statement and instead paid the
claim from the Police Report.

8. MY STATEMENT READS - On January 28, 2017 Stan J. Catebone was being stalked by
several cars, which happens on a daily basis. While trying to evade the cars, Stan J.
Caterbone entered the intersection of Mifflin and Water Streets, stop at the stop sign
and look both ways before inching into the intersection, however the perpetrator car
turned of the lights, and the car was a small black car, making it impossible to see, and
resulting in the collision. Then immediately after Stan J. Caterbone called 911,
another Hispanic male immediately arrived on the scene and began threatening to
physically harm Stan J. Caterbone, before Lancaster City Police arrived.

9. The following is the MOTION TO DISMISS that JESSICA BAAS of GEICO refused to let me state
for the record:
