First Day

Why is teaching important for us in year three? In teaching practice, I learn various
knowledge and experience. In my first day in my childhood kindergarten. The kindergarten
Name is Alsundoos. I want to the school at 7:30. Teachers and students arrived at the school. My
friends Mariam and Fatima and I were waiting for the principle. Actually most of the teachers
know us because of it not our first time to the Alsundoos Kindergarten. Students begin the
assessment at 8:00 am until 8:30 am.
After that students came to the classroom. My friends (Mariam & Fatima) and I were waiting
for assassins of a principle to tall us in which school we should be. Mariam and I were in the
same classroom, our class is KG 2-3. Everythings in the class were amazing and beautiful. For
example, different literacy flash cards, centers and the classroom colorful. MST welcomed us.
They change the MOE curriculum of the government kindergarten and they make it similar to a
private school, so the both teachers (English & Arabic) were together in the classroom.
The first lesson was English, the teacher teaches students literacy words and the sounds of the
letters. The words like is, an, in, it and as. It was so nice, the teacher teaches students in a
professional way and most of the students involved with her. After the explanation the teacher let
students sing a song with video and act with the video, than she makes four group activities for a
different group of students, she sits with one group and Arabic teacher sits with another group,
the other two group works in other centers Mariam and I were there, so we involved and helped
our MST. At the end of the lesson English teacher sing a clean-up sing.
After the English class, Arabic teacher teaches children new letter in Arabic. At 10:30 the
teacher let the children play outside in the playground, while pupils play my friends Mariam,
Fatima and I want to eat our breakfast. At 11:00 my friends and I went to take pictures around
the school and collect several information that we must have it. At 12:00 we came back to the
classroom. It was a story time. The English teacher let two children tell the whole classroom
story about Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? Students like the story and I enjoy
because government kindergarten develops the English subject and teaches students like a
private school what I mean they focus in English also.
Students left the classroom at 12:30 pm. At 1:00 Mariam, Fatima, and I left our special
kindergarten. It was a nice day with various knowledge from both teachers and useful. I learned
from English teacher some of the sounds of letters and how to teach students in an interesting
way, she is professional. I like my first day, it was comfortable. I will never forget my first day at
Alsundoos Kindergarten.
