Contingency plans
If I cannot use my locations then I will have to postpone for
another time or day as the probs that I need cannot be moved
or taken outside anywhere to photograph. If this becomes
permanent then I shall have to find an alternative location that
can provide the correct props.
If my model cancels because they are ill or for any other reason
then I shall have to postpone for another time/day. If they
cannot do rearrange then I shall have to resort to the backup
models that i will have covered.
If my battery in my camera dies then I shall have a spare
battery on hand so that I do not waste or miss out on shooting
time.
If any of my equipment or my props break then I shall try to
make sure that I have back ups so that I do not miss out on
shooting time or waste time.
If it rains I have to be able to reschedule for another day where
it is not raining as all of my locations are outside.

Legal
Trespass- In the UK there is a law that says it is a criminal
offence to obstruct the free passage on the highway, footways,
bike paths and roads.
Generally you have the right to photograph anywhere that is
public property, including public roads, footpaths, rights of way
and between high and low tide at least if not the entire beach
areas throughout the UK. Generally no person has the right of
privacy of themselves or their property photographed from
such a place.[source]
Copyright- Copyright was created so that the creator of original
work gets the credit they deserve and has all the rights to it
and its distribution. This is only for a limited time but usually
until after they have died. If you wanted to use somebody
elses work you would first have to ask for permission,
otherwise you could get into serious trouble with the copyright
law.
Intellectual Property- Intellectual property refers to physical
creative work e.g. art, inventions, designs. The rights to these
come down to the copyright, design rights and trademarks.
Obscenity Law- There is a law that was passed in 1973 that
says that you cannot use inappropriate language or be rude on
tv, radio or in images as it may offend many different types of
people.
Trademark- A trademark is a recognizable sign, design, or
expression which identifies products or services so that they
are safe from being used by other people.
Ethical
Gender- There are many ethical issues to do with gender. It is
wrong to assume someone's gender and it is ethically wrong to
stereotype a gender or to talk bad about a certain gender. I
must not discriminate any gender in my photoshoot or I could
get in trouble for offending peoples gender beliefs.
Age- I must not discriminate against peoples ages as that is an
ethical issue and many people could be easily offended by it. I
also cannot be ageist or stereotype any age in a bad or over
the top way in the media as I could get into trouble for taboo
against someones gender beliefs.
Ethnicity- I cannot discriminate about someone's ethnicity or
religion. It would be wrong to talk bad about someones
ethnicity as it is their life and their decision, everybody
deserves to be treated fairly. There is no right or wrong religion
or ethnicity. I have to make sure that i do not photograph
anything ethically wrong and make sure I am respectful so that
i do not get into trouble about it.
Disabilities- I must make sure that I do not discriminate against
any disability in my work. A disability is not something that
someone can control and there is nothing wrong with having a
disability so I must not say or suggest anything bad about
disabilities in my work. Otherwise I could get into trouble for
being so ethically wrong.
