OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
The main objective of this course is;
i. To understand the different motions of objects on a macroscopic scale
ii. To develop simple mathematical formalisms to analyze such motions.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
After finishing the course the student should be able to:
1. Central mechanical quantities as force and moment and Background and use of
the equations of equilibrium.

2. The behavior of typical components of particle dynamics, Center of mass etc.

3. Understand Gravitation, momentum and their examples

TEACHING METHOD
The course will run for 16 weeks and comprises of 4 lecture of one hour each per
week.
ASSESSMENT MECHANISM
Assessment and evaluation of students will be according to the Assessment and
Evaluation Regulations of University of Education Lahore.
Course Grades are based on following components and weightings (Out of 100)
