5.5 Stars by Before reading, students will cover and
Bette Frisk vocabulary words by reading aloud cooperation
definitions and using words in
examples. Each day this vocabulary
will be reviewed
Instruction:
Students will read two paragraphs at
a time aloud. Students not reading
aloud should be following along.
Each day, we will cover 2-3 pages of
text, stopping periodically to answer
questions about literary elements.
Vocabulary will be reviewed in
context as they appear in the text
