Dont judge a book by its cover. In the movie Hec hears rickys background and
takes a look at him and just thinks of him as a bad kid but In the end after they have gone
through a lot of things including see a ranger in shock, Hec hurting his foot because he got it
stuck between two rocks, meeting three hunters that try to hurt Hec but ricky saves him, and
of course running from the cops. But in the end Hec thinks of ricky as family/his nephew. this
only one of the lessons out of three theres two more including dont fake your own death.
This one is kinda obvious dont fake your own death. When ricky first decides to run away he
makes a dummy of himself and soaked is in gas. Then he took a match to the dummy at first it
was fine then the barn statred to burn down. He had used a paper plate for his face so when
the cops got there the first thought it was for real then they saw the fake body he used a paper
plate for the face. That didnt help and the cops were on him fast. So dont fake your DEATH!
So now that that you know not to fake your own death. I think ill tell how about the third
lesson
Always stick together. Hec and rindy stick together through almost all of the movie but they
get separated and it doesn't go well from them bcuz ricky doesn't have hec to help with his
skills and hec does not have ricky help him on the run but they get back together by the end.
So did you learn anything from this? Because there was three lessons to learn dont judge a
