The journey of a bad person to a good person is a hard one.

In the movie Hunt for the

Wilderpeople, Ricky Baker and his foster uncle, Hec, find the true meaning of family as they

take an amazing journey through the New Zealand bush. Ricky is a dynamic character because

he goes from hating Hec and Bella to loving them.

Ricky Baker is a dynamic character because of the events in the hunt for the wilder

people. The first is when ricky did not want to be at the farm, For example. Ricky looks around

the house and gets back in the car. This shows that ricky does not want to be with a foster

family. And then he burns down the barn fakes his own death and then runs away. These actions

show that ricky does not want to live with Hec and Bella, And then he really hates Hec so much

that he feels like he needs to fake his own death so he doesnt have to live with them. Ricky

really does not want to live with hec and bella and wants to go back to the street.

Ricky is a dynamic character because he stands up for other people. In the first case of

him standing up for other people is when he saved Hec from the boar, as shown here. Ricky was

standing there while hec was being attacked, then ricky shot the boar and it ran away. He also

stands up for hec when Hec is being blamed for being a pervert and shoots the gun in the air.

Another example is when they see the people again and they get beat up and shot by ricky. This

shows ricky is starting to like hec. This evidence shows that ricky is a dynamic character

Ricky Baker is a dynamic character because ricky wants to live with hec after the events

of hunt for the wilder people shown here. This happens when ricky says, when this is all over I

want to live with you, and Hec said I want you to live with me. This means that they have grown

from hating each other to loving each other. This also happens when the movie is almost over,

when Ricky goes to the institute where Hec is after being deemed unfit to be a foster parent by
Child Welfare Services. Now Ricky really wants to live with hec, even though he is living with

the people he met in the forest this show ricky loves Hec more than anybody else.

Rickys journey was a hard one but he made it, Ricky Baker is a dynamic character

because he went from burning down the barn and running away to loving his foster uncle hec.

Because someone like ricky can change why cant everyone?
