User-adjustable time and temperature controls provide dry-to-dry processing of materials up to 17 inches wide on Rapiline {7 Processors. up 10 26 inches wide on Rapiline 26 Processors, and upto 28 inches wide on Rapiline 28 Processors. All processors have microprocessor control of developing. xing, ‘washing, and drying functions to assure optimum and consistent results. The microprocessor also controls process time. temperature. replenishment. and chemistry leves. All three processors have the capability of storing multiple programs to ensure consistent processing of repetitive jobs, All 26 and 28 processors canbe installed in a conventional darkroom setting. or ina through-wall conliguraion (with optional darkroom panels). To familiarize yourself with the equipment. read this manual through completely befbre attempting to install. operate or perform matn- tenance on the processor. Each tank can be drained separately. or all at the same time. Depending on local plumbing codes. the fixer tank can be drained separately from the developer and water tanks. Plastic hose couplings. clamps, and six feet of plastic tubing are supplied withthe unt. A floor drain. in proximity to the processor. is the recommended ‘method for draining the developer. fixer. and water tanks. The ‘maximum height of the drain should not exceed 12° above the floor. and the drain capacity should be large enough to handle approximately 6 gallons per minute (10 gallons per minute if all three tanks are drained simultaneously . Do not use copper tubing in the tloor drain because the chemistry has a corrosive action on copper. If local codes permit. PVC tubing is recommended. NOTE: All plumbing and drain configurations must be in full ac- cordance with local environmental and plumbing codes. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS. NOTE: A dedicated line must be used for the processor. ‘The processor power input connections are wired at the factory for connection to a power source of single-phase, 208/240 volts AC. 50/60 Hz, 30 amperes each phase. plus ground line ¢3-wire hookup). However. electrical input wiring cun be modified to accomodate local power of three-pinase. 208/240 volts AC, 50/60 Hz. 20 amperes each phase. plus ground line (4-wire hookup), All electrical connections to the processor are accessible beneath the dryer section. NOTE: Single- or three-phase operation requires even voltage levels on each phase. RAPILINE 17, RAPILINE 28, RAPILINE 28 RES ORS.
