TUJUAN / OBJECTIVE(S) :

The trainee must be able:-

1. Calculate the shortest duration

2. Determine the ordering/reordering points using MRP.
3. Determine the EOQ.

ARAHAN/INSTRUCTION:

You are appointed to manage a project and required to handover/deliver the products based on
the time required as below:

The project need to go all the stages (A to F).

1. Calculate the shortest duration to complete the project.

2. If at stage C,
a. Lean time is 4 days,
b. The daily usage of material is 5 units
c. And the buffer stocks is set at 2 units,

Determine the ordering/reordering points using MRP.

3. If at stage D
a. Order quantity is 5
b. Demand per unit is 20 units
c. Periodical is based on the duration of the stage
d. Carrying / Holding Cost is RM3
e. Order Cost is RM0.50

Calculate the EOQ.
