Packaged Drinking Water Project Requirements
a. Project Building:
1. Bore well
1. Submersible Pump
e. Power Requirement:
1. 50 HP
h. Production Machineries:
Water should be collected from the source which should be well protected, available
easily, uncontaminated. Sources can be anything viz. bore well water Line, Closed Ring
Well, Municipal Supply Line or Other source where treatment is possible.
Water Transfer
Water is transferred to Raw Water Storage Tanks using proper pumping system and un-
contaminating piping work. Either Submersible Pump or surface mounted Centrifugal
pump can be used with good quality UPVC or CPVC or SS piping can be used for this
application.
Some of the Makes and Quality available for the Tanks and Pipes:
Raw water is chlorinated with the help of dosing pump, Sodium Hypo chloride is dosed
in raw water before it is taken into the raw water tank/s. (Storage tanks are considered
in your scope and should be of 20 M3 to 50 M3 capacity). Storing of water into this tank
will give retention period for water and thus chlorine will effectively oxidize the organic
impurities (kill bacteria and virus).
This chlorinated water is passed through Multi Media Filter with the help of Feed pump of
suitable capacity to remove suspended impurities. This filter unit gives the coarse
filtration. Filtered water is then passed through Activated Carbon Filter to remove excess
chlorine (de-chlorination), odour, colour and turbidity due to colloidal suspended
impurities and organic impurities.
De chlorinated water is then dosed with Anti Scalent Solution to avoid scale formation
on the membrane. This water is further passed through 10-micron Bag Filter Followed by
5 Micron Cartridge filter to remove micron particles to avoid clogging of the RO
membrane and to improve the silt density index. This water is further dosed with SMBS
solution to remove residual chlorine from Water. RO Unit is complete with High Pressure
Pump, Membranes with Pressure tubes, Electrical control panel and wet panel, piping
with valves and all the required accessories viz., pressure switch, solenoid valve etc.
Reverse Osmosis unit will reduce the dissolved Salts up to 95% of the in feed TDS. RO
treated water is either adjusted for TDS by blending Filtered water passed through 0.2
Micron Cartridge Filter followed by UV OR dosed with Mineral. pH is also adjusted in case
of pH below the limit to raise to 7.5.
Treated water from RO unit will be stored into SS tank of 2000 Lts capacity.
This treated water is then passed through 0.2 micron cartridge filter before it is taken for
the filling. Ozonator
unit producing ozone gas is installed in series at the outlet of UV System to provide
residual effect of ozone to
the water.
EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE
1. Chlorine Dosing System (Metering Pump):
a. To inject chlorine into feed water to inhibit the growth of bacteria and
eliminate any existing bacterial
contamination in the feed water.
b. Complete with 50 Lts capacity High Density Polyethylene tank.
c. LMI make High pressure chemical injection metering pump.
7. 10 Micron Filter:
a. To remove micron sediment particles from raw water prior to Reverse Osmosis
system to avoid
clogging of membrane.
b. SS housing with Micron Cartridges with pressure gauge etc.

Air 1.5 C.F.M AT 60 PSI
The Machine is100% with neck run and in feed is by air conveyor. There
are no heights settling requirement when bottles are changed. The
Complete Rinser /Filler/Capper is enclosed in acrylic and stainless steel
guard cover enclosure without any rubber gaskets.
For cap delivery to the filler, we have developed a new type of hopper
which takes the cap from floor level by an elevator systems and selects
the cap in proper and orientation in to the cap Washing / Rinsing
attachment along with sterile air blowing attachment
and thereafter to the pick N-Place star wheel of the capping machine.
DESCRIPTION:
The duly inverted bottles will receive water from the washing
Nozzles on rear of the machine. The washing will operate from 90
to 180 degree rotation of the washing machine. Zero degree
position is in front of the operator.180 to270 Degree will be drain
time and from 270 to 360 bottle will be transferred on out feed
conveyor. The drained water can be accumulated and allowed to
drain in the tank and re-cycled after re-cycled after re-processing
(if required). The Machine will be fully constructed in stainless
Steel above the tabletop level. The bottle handling parts will be
nylon. The appropriate guards will be provided to prevent water
splashing.
The bottle will enter the capping turret. There is cap elevator
sorting type hopper with pick-N-Place arrangement for lifting the
cap and positively placing on bottle mouth. By adjustable torque
chucks, cap will be firmly tightened. Duly capped bottles will be
transferred on the conveyor and taken to the collecting table for
further packing. There might be little overflow of water through
the bottle which will be dropped on the floor and drained.
