It has an easy
to use drag-
and-drop
interface
and provides

photographs,
graphics, and
fonts.
It is used by
non-designers
as well as
professionals.
The tools can

web and print
media design
and graphics.
Canva comes in free and paid
versions.

tutorial, we will
sign up for
free.
Lets get
started.
On your desktop,

double click on your browser

Or on your taskbar,

Click on your browser to
open it.

Your browser opens.

In the search box, type
canva.

Click the search icon.

Click on the link canva.com

Canva sign up page opens.

You can sign
up to Canva
in 3 ways.
You can sign up with
Facebook.

You can sign up with Google.

You can sign up with Email.

For this
tutorial, lets
sign up with
Email.
Click Sign up with Email.

Sign up with Email page
opens.

Type your Full Name.

Type your Email.

Type your Email again to
confirm.

Type your Password.

Click Sign up.

Canva homepage opens.

You have
successfully
signed up with
Canva.
Lets create
our first
Canva!
Click Create a design.

Select the designs from the
collection.

For this
tutorial, lets
click on one
topic.
Click Social Media.

You can choose different
designs here.

Some designs are free.

Some designs are paid.

Click the design to see
details.

Lets click on
a free design.
Click here.

Your chosen design appears
on the editing board.

Click on the image to edit.

The editing tools appears.

To change the background
color, click here.

Color palette appears.

Click on a color.

The background color
changed.

Click here to apply filter to
the image.

Different filters appears.

For example, click Drama.

The image changed to drama
filter.

To resize the image, click
Crop.

Click and hold on the image.

Move the image to the left.

Or move the image to the
right.

Adjust it to your desired area.

Click the tick mark when done
cropping.

Click Flip to flip the image.

Click Flip Horizontally.

The image is flipped.

Click Flip Vertically.

The image is flipped
vertically.

Click Spacing to adjust the
image size.

Adjust the slide accordingly.

Slide to the right makes
image smaller.

To copy an image, click
Copy.

The new image appears on
top.

Click add a new page.

A new blank page appears.

Click, hold and drag the
copied image to new page.

Scroll down to see the new
page.

Click Arrange.

Click Forward.

Notice the text was removed

Click Forward again.

All the text are gone.

Click Back to return to
original image with text.

Back to the original image
with text.

Click Transparency.

A transparency slider
appears.

Move the mouse on the black
circle.

Click, hold and move the
slider to the left.

Notice that the image
becomes cloudy.

To edit the text in the image,
click on the text.

A text box appears.

Editing tools also appears
above.

Click here to change the font.

You will see the current font
used.

Scroll down to see more font
styles.

Click on a font style to
change.

The font style in the image
changes.

This is your current font size.

To change the font size, click
here.

Click on a lower number to
decrease the font size.

An example of a smaller font
size.

Click on a higher number to
increase the font size.

An example of a bigger font
size.

To stretch the text box,

click, hold and move the
handle to the left

click, hold and move the
handle to the right.

Adjust the text box to your
desired position.

To change the font color,
click here.

A color palette appears.

Click on a color.

The font color changed.

To make the letters bold, click
here.

To make the letters italics,
click here.

To adjust the text alignment,
click here.

Click here for left side
alignment.

Click here for center
alignment

Click here for right side
alignment.

To make the text all
uppercase, click here.

All letters becomes
uppercase font.

To adjust the space between
letters, click here.

Move your mouse here to
adjust letter spacing.

Move your mouse here to
adjust line height.

Adjust anchor text box here.

To save your work, click File.

Click Save.

To make a copy, click here.

To share your work, click
here.

You can share it to people.

Type the email addresses of
the people here.

Keep the default to allow
people to edit your work.

Click here to change.

Click this to view your work
only.

Click here to sent invites.

You can share it to Social
Media.

Click Social

Click one of your social
media accounts.

Click Facebook.

Click connect account.

Click Continue as

Write a caption here.

Click OK.

Click Share now.

Click link.

Click Copy.

Paste the link to your email.

Click Embed.

Click here to make your
design public.

Click Copy.

Paste it on your blog or
website.

Click here to go back to your
homepage.

Click here to see the
dropdown menu.

Click Sign out

Canva sign in page appears.
