Theyre
seeking
your
support
tonight
Highlander Tyler King (at left) and all the
wrestlers enrolled in the Glasgow Wrestling
Program would appreciate your support
tonight (Thursday, March 2nd)as they are
having their annual Spaghetti Feed & Pie
Auction. Festivities get underway at The
Glasgow Elks Lodge at 6:00 serving piles
of Italian goodness for $5 per plate or $20
per family. The Pie Auction gets started at
around 7:00.
This is the GWCs major fund-raiser for the
year and helps fund the Highlanders with
their out-of-state travel expenses as well
as funding the summer wrestling camp
here in Glasgow and all over the region.
Also, HALF of all of tonights proceeds
go to the construction of a new wrestling
facility. Its been only a year since GWC
released the plans to the public about a
new facility and already over $25,000 has
been raised towards this project. Hopefully
tonight will be successful and push them
closer to their end goal. With nearing 90
kids in GWC this year and projections of
over 100 in the near future the space
will be essential for the growth of our
outstanding program, the life blood of our
Scotty Wrestling program! Hope to see
everyone tonight!
