In 2015, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) will
have 15 Leagues operating across 14 different states with more than
1,916 licensed coaches, 400 teams, and 5,100 student-athletes
participating in 350,000+ hours of NICA programs and events. 15 Leagues

NICA is the national governing body for interscholastic mountain biking,

providing leadership, governance and program support to promote the
development and operation of interscholastic cycling leagues across
the United States.

Our licensed coaches, staff and volunteers are the driving force
behind the national movement and our student-athletes are the next
generation of riders - 88% ride year round, 92% ride 1-3 times a week
and 99% state they will ride for the rest of their lives.
