Following your advertisement for the Shell Graduate Programme, I wish to put in my application. I
am confident that, I would prove to be an asset for your organization and hence, I have included all
my educational qualifications.

Enriched with the ability to learn new concepts & technology within a short span of time. Possess the
ability to coordinate with different people at one time under difficult situations. Ability to use sound
judgment & decision-making skills and effectively perform in a self-directed environment

I am in the final year, pursuing B.tech in Applied Petroleum Engineering Upstream, having a CGPA
of 2.79/4. My hobbies are to play Table tennis and chess and I have been a state level player before
entering the college.

The role of Blowout Preventers in drilling industry continues to expand and is an integral discipline
in the production of oil and gas deposits. Every formation has a different type of planning required
with different methods of well-stimulation and this is what attracts me the most and forced me to opt
this branch.

In the third semester, I won the second best paper award in the upstream section of IIT-KGP which
motivates me a lot to start developing my interest in the branch I opted and that fact helped me in
participating in IIT-Roorkee as well where I won the second prize in their case study and the
certificate of appreciation in the geology and earth science section.

I have always been inspired by my parents as they used to share everything that how much they
struggled in their lives for achieving such greater heights i.e. where they are today.

I believe that I would be a suitable fit for this position and I would appreciate the opportunity to work
with your team on the project. I look forward to being able to discuss the position with you further.
