The lines of the new STRALIS cab have been designed to achieve
an excellent dra g coef ficient – one of the factor s with
the highest impact on ener gy-efficiency (at 85 km/h, 40% of a
vehicle’s fuel consumption goes on overcoming air resistance).
By improving the Cd by 3%, we’ve reduced noise levels in
the cab, and allowed significant fuel savings on long-haul jobs.
And for vehicles used mostly on motorways, the specific
aerodyna mic kit, compr ising adjustable roof spoiler and

easily visible and accessible without r aising your back from

of the stor age compar tments has been increased too, so that
documents, maps and tools are always to hand.
Maximum driving comfort for everyone: as well as the

pneumatic steer ing wheel adjustment system, the cab features a
new heated and ventilated seat with height-adjustable , integr ated
seat-belt.
Ever y feature of the new STRALIS is designed to improve

with hi-fi r adio and touch-screen display, also manages the

The night a rea includes the new HIGH COMFORT bunk,
guar anteed to make dr i ver s feel at home wherever they are: 80
cm wide and over two metres long, it’s equipped with wooden 08 09

slats, a super-comfor table mattress and reclinable back-rest

(ideal for shor t stops). Alter natively, there’s a stowable bunk
that folds in the middle and tur ns into a handy table . On the
HI-WAY ver sion, the top bunk is easy to open thanks to the air-
spr ung opening system, and folds away completely into the wall
to make the cab even more spacious.
There’s an additional low-noise , low-consumption air conditioner
built into the roof panel, which ensures a comfor table cab
temper ature even with the engine off.
Two more exter nal stor age compar tments are available for
stowing tools and wor k clothing. The fr idge features a handy

system processes the data acquired from the engine , vehicle and

The new STRALIS uses Cursor FPT INDUSTRIAL engines with
in-line 6-cylinder architecture , in three displacement var iants (8,
10 and 13 litres) and eight diesel power var iants (310 to 560
