07 MOMENTS

1) MOMENTS

I - That moment when you say something and everyone laughs, so you just sit there like a boss.

II -That moment when you finally take a decent picture and then as you continue to stare it gets uglier.

III -That moment when you hear a song and EVERY word describes your situation perfectly.

IV -That moment when you're in a really bad mood and your parents won't stop talking to you...

V -That moment when you're up so late you start calculating how many hours of sleep you'd get if you fell
asleep at that moment.

VI -That moment when you were being silly and epic with your friends and your crush saw you and think
you were retarded.

VII- Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: What! You, too? Thought I was the
only one

2) How would you define a moment?

3) Work in pairs. Talk about moments in your life which are, have been or may be important. Give them
the following categories:
What moments are important to you in your own life right now?
What moments were important to you in your own life in the past?
What moments may be important to you in your own life in the future?

4) You are going to watch a short film called Moments about the small moments that make life
extraordinary.
Watch the film and to put the moments you see into one of the three categories below:

What is important to you in your own life right now.

What was important to you in your own life in the past.
What may be important to you in your own life in the future.

5) Compare your responses and explain why youve put and why. Explain 3 of the moments which are
of importance to you in detail to your partner
6) Watch the movie again. What is the films message?
 7) You are going to watch another short film called Smal Pleasures, in Greek with English Subtitles
which starts with the following words:

Once upon a time in a country far far away a boy lived, very different from all the others. His name was
Eftichis. Everything ran smoothly in his life until one day, many many years ago an incident made him see
life from a different perspective. And suddenly, a big secret was revealed.
Predict what the film will be about. What story will it tell? What images will you see?

8) In pairs again, try to remember as many of the Small pleasures that youve seen in the movie as you
can! Watch it again and check your answers.
