Respected Sir,
Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) has conducted a training session
on AutoCAD-Professional Level from 20.02.2017 to 23.02.2017 in our college premises by
trainer Sri B.Kishore at B-IV 230.
Day 1(20.02.2017):
Sri B. Kishor Kumar Trainer from TASK was introduced to the Students by TASK
Institute Co-ordinator Sri P.Vijay Kumar.
Principal Prof. P. Venkateshwar Rao addressed the students and gave valuable inputs
regarding the importance of being Certified by Authorized Professional body.
Training Session
Trainer discussed about drawing skills, gave the guidelines to install AutoCAD 2016
(Student Version). Enlightened about the list of skills that are to be covered in the training
session and in Exam .
Students were made to practice on
Draw Objects :
Draw lines and rectangles
Draw Circles, Arcs, and Polygons
Draw with Accuracy: (Importance)
Use object-snap tracking
Use Coordinate Systems
Make isometric drawings
Day 2(21.02.2017):
Discussed Modify commands and their application. Students are made to draw using
the discussed commands.( Provided drawing hard copies to student)
Day 3 (22.02.2017):
Organize Objects
Annotate Drawings
Add and modify text
Use dimensions
Add and modify multileaders
Create and assign annotative styles
Use tables
Discussed commands and their identification for the given drawings and focussed on
how to crack test for certification.
Day 4 (23.02.2017):
Sri S.Sripathy Asst. Professor ,MED and Sri G. Shravan Kumar. Asst. Professor
CED (TASK Department Co-ordinators) continuously co-ordinated with the training session
and guided students during practice sessions.
Besides these, we felt that if the training would have been extended about 2 days further
the training might turn up very successful. Finally, overall impression of the training was
good.
Thank you so much for your timely support to organise such a wonderful training for the
benefit of our students.
