Although their are positive effects of technology others believe that technology can make

a very negative impact. The internet changes the brain and alter the actual writing of it. It

is proven that children that are as young as two years old use mobile media and these

increases to nearly 95% as they grow older and become teenagers. Technology can

have a negative effect on the way that we feel. It can increase the childs ability to

emphasize. A study that was done on sixth graders that were without technology for a

few days totally changed them. They were more likely to have face to face interaction.

Internet can also put the privacy issues at risk such as sharing information, hate crimes

and cyberbullying. The more that technology is being used the less that kids are doing

exercise. These negative issues can be addressed by teaching responsible usage, being

familiar with technology and have parents monitor technology.

The author was intending for people to understand the negative affects of the internet

and how they impact us as an society. The article contains a wide range of naive effects

that can happen as you grow older and how internet can negatively affect you as a

teenager. Some of the text also contains a perspective on how privacy issues and

cyberbullying can became a very serious issue as time goes on within the internet. It

also gives one advice on how to prevent some of these negative issues that happen well

using the internet.

 This information could easily be used to talk about the negative impacts of technology.

Most of the article contains information about how a child and a teenager is impacted. It

could be used to discuss with other about sharing information and cyberbullying. It could

give others a perspective on how internet can lead to more issues such as hate crime

and cyberbullying. It gives one ideas of how to prevent these negative impacts that

connection will become more permanent and automatics, you will not have to have an

individual connection. There is a possibility that their will be universal internet and their

will be no more worry about having a bad connection. A negative factor is that jobs might

be taken over by machines. However others might look at this is a positive because this

will make less work for others in the world place. Over time the internet will mature than

it already has. It will be more connected to household items, wallets and health monitors.

As this increases the desire to connect everything will also have an increase. Some

business could be negatively impacted by this because of the ever changing world. It is

also predicated that by the year 2030 we will have internet on Mars and the first settlers

on Mars will be able to communicate to others back on earth

Losing skills to the internet says that all teenagers have some sort of social media. All

teenagers admit to losing skills to the internet. Teens, 35%, have admitted that social

media has taking away the usually conversations they have face to face. Teens have

also admitted that they are frustrated about how others are attached to their mobile

device. However teens, 54% report that the internet allows them to be closer connected

to friends and build better relationships. Well only 2% report saying that it hurts their

relationships

The internet has effected us greatly over the last ten years. Nearly ten years ago the

networks were dependent and were very expensive. Ten years ago there was no

broadband internet widely available and many internet companies made their own

interactions. Media has also evolved over a period of time. A decade ago CDs and floppy

disks were very common and the most available piece of information. These worked

between 10 and 100 megabits per second and transferring files was only done by ver

high speed internet. We now have usb drives that work nearly 2,00 megabits per

second and apps that are readily available to everyone.

how far it has taken us. It gives detailed information on how slow the internet has been

and how it has moved along so fast within the last ten years. Gives others a new idea on
