Second Term Reports

Second Term reports will be sent home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Parent-

attend at this time, please arrange an alternate time. Due to these scheduled
interviews, students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on March 16.

Donations to The Janeway and Bay d Espoir Academy

During the past two weeks our students and staff collected $118.15 for the Janeway which has been
forwarded to the Janeway Foundation on behalf of Catalina Elementary. Also, $139.90 was collected
from the school community to support Bay d Espoir Academy. In addition, the Student Council
decided to donate the profits from the sale of the Candy Grams ($130.22 ) to this worthwhile cause.
Thank you once again to those of you that supported these events!

Kinderstart
The next Kinderstart Session is scheduled
for Monday, March 27th, 2017. This means
that Kindergarten students will not have
school on this day.
Homework Haven
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from
2:45-4:00 p.m. a Homework Haven is
available for students in grades 4-8. With
parent permission, students can stay during
these times to get help with their homework.

Thank You! Scabies/Headlice

A special Thank You to the parents for the
wonderful treats and lunch during Teacher/Staff
Appreciation Week. It was delicious and very
much appreciated by all the staff.
At various times throughout the year, your child
may come into contact with scabies or headlice.
Please remind your child not to share caps or
combs and to wash their hands regularly. If you
have any concerns regarding either of the above,
contact a physician or public health.
