The unlocked door

Brrrrringggggggg The school bell alarming like the sound of wisdom. The sky became dark

and a little bit red.The bird and all the animals way back home including animals like Human However

not only living thing,the sun all so set down for resting the world. All children in a white shirt and a 5

digit number on their chest that sewing by the blue thread to identify the children as the student ID.

The girls will wear a long navy skirt and of course boys wear the navy trousers. They face look so hurry

and happy but just most of them some of them look so tired and slowly like one girl MAY she tread

her feet step faster and faster.her face was wet with the sweat. Her mouth was dry she breathe heavily.

From the school to her house isnt far all the students have to walk by there feet back to their home.

MOM! MOM! MOM! May shout and knock the door by her feet.

MOM! Hurry up I'm hurried She continued to shout for her mom and knock the door until

an old woman covered her face by sweat and a little dirt.

I had to wait until I death? May said with untidy voice and she walk pass the old woman that

she call her as a mom.

Sorry my dear, I was in the backyard garden collecting the ingredient for our dinner

Is dinner ready? I starving to death! She walked to a small old table that place in the middle of

the house.Upon the table there are old ceramic bowls that contain stir-fried vegetables from the house

backyard and two plates are placed beside the ceramic bowls.

Stir-fried vegetable again? May look angrier when she saw this menu for her dinner while she

so hungry.

Sorry dear, I dont have enough money to buy a meat for our dinner I just use my last money

on paying for house rent fee, The old woman said

Did we that poor? I have eaten the stir-fried vegetable with rice for a week.Just a little money

to buy a good food for me you still dont have how my life would be

May and her mom start crying harder and harder. Last 15 years since May was little they both has lost

the head of the family Ton The old womans husband. The old women become the single mom she
has move into a head family position that she is not confident on it but she tried to do her best and

destination.

The light from the sun change from red to dark and a cold wind flow pass through her face.Two

feet keep move on until she has arrived at Train station.There were several sorts of clouds at Yala

Station.There were clouds of dust, both from the departing train and by nervous stomping feet of the

clouds of people gathered there.She start to feel anxious and depressed.

Sigh she emited the deep heavy breath out.

21:20 pm. The clock in the station show.

She jumped on the last train that direct to Bangkok,the city that never sleeps,her eye look at the

seat number at the top of the seat. A23 she found the number that matched with a number on the

ticker.She flinged the huge heavy backpack on the shelf above the seat.

Dear passenger, The train take about 12 hours from Yala to Bangkok. We will arrive

approximately at 5:40Am. engine driver said. It was a long day for May then she was sleep after the

train out for a few minutes.

5:45 am the digital clock on the train show

Dear passenger, we have taken you to Bangkok Station already, Engine Driver said.

BOP! May head hit the window hardly. She woke up with a frightened from train

announcement everyone around her busy on taking their stu but she still sat in her seat looking at

them and think that this wasnt just a dream it was real that she left her mom. She stood up and reach

out her arm to pick her backpack to get ready to see the new world. The station was crowded with all

sorts of passengers. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry. May keep walking in the hallway of the station

with surprised.

She blended in with people that walking in the hallway as her. She keep walking without

direction and her stomach rumble with hunger. She used her hand to hold her stomach with shyness

and she realized that she didnt have any food since yesterday. She walked into the local noodle shop on

the side of the road. She ordered one bowl of noodle with a fish ball after she finished the dish her

stomach full of the carbohydrate from noodle. She walk from her table to the owner

How much for my noodle ?She asked the owner

40 Baht the owner answer. She opened her backpack and took out her wallet immediately.She

took out last 2 of 20 baht notes in her wallet out and paid to the owner with shaken hand and her face

became anxiety.

your oce? She asked Ms.Brown and her eyes looked around the old and frightful building and so

many of wheelbarrow in front of the building preparing their product to sell. That wasnt like what I

After 12 hours May has arrived at Yala station. She picked up her stu and ran out from the

train rapidly.She walked from the station to her house immediately but something make she stop

walking

Or I shouldnt do this? she talked to herself.Then the picture of her good time with her mom pop

up in her head. She walk and open that old door with a big smile

May Her mom called her name and start to cry. She ran into her mom arm and hug her hardly

Im sorry I was my bad that I left you May said with sob voice then she give a flower that she

bought from the train station.

Forgive me, mom, im sorry

I never hate you baby you are my ones beloved,my heart and my life I can forgive you anytime,

Mom said and hug May with missing

Until then May and her mom became the beloved family that everyone around them was

envious.May already found her happiness that was her family.
