DURABILITY
(c) Find the water/cement ratio from the strength and durability
points of view. Adopt the lower value.
(h) Select the bulk volume of dry rodded coarse aggregate per unit
volume of concrete, for the particular maximum size of coarse
aggregate and fineness modulus of fine aggregate.
2 Water/cement ratio

Procedure:
Three test speciman should be made for each sample for testing
at 28 Days
Individual test results should not be more than +/- 15 % of the
average. If more sample is rejected.
SAMPLING AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Sampling:
In big construction sites, register is maintained
showing test results of samples of concrete taken.
Sample should denote time and part of the
structure to which concrete is used.
Register is important legal document and should be
kept in safe custody.
