It was the lowest point in my life fighting depression, loneliness and fear.

Yuri Shwedoff was born in 1991 and lived in Kyrgyzstan until the age of 9, when his family decided
it was time to move to Russia in order for Yuri to receive a good art education. In 2008 Yuri
graduated from the painting department of the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian
Academy of Arts. At this time, he was also nominated for the Medal of the Russian Academy of
Fine Arts for a series of works entitled, Suzdal. Recently Shwedoff graduated from the Moscow
State Academic Art University in Surikov and is currently a member of Moscow Union of Artists.

Often with my artist friends, we discuss our roles in the world and the role of art in the
global system of values. Now everything is changing very rapidly and important things lose
their importance. Maybe, soon, we will have to survive and hunt like many thousand years
ago. We need artists in such a world, or all of us will need to pick up the spears and go for
a battle for the last cheeseburger. I believe that art helps people to experience the feelings
that they have deep inside. Understanding these feelings and at the same time understand
ourselves. Learning to enjoy the beauty of the world. Art helps us to be the ones who we
should be not only builders, but also the audience. Art reminds us that the whole world
was created for us to appreciate its beauty. So its cool to create and enjoy the creations.
It will be important even when we go back to the cave and will draw on walls. And it is a
nice job to sit, to draw and to watch cartoons. What more could you ask for?

Sleep Yuri Shwedoff
 RUSSIA

 POLAND

I live in Tarnow, in the south of Poland. Photography became my passion in 2005. I began with
nature photography and later, landscapes. I recently became also interested in pictures on the
boundary of photography and graphics. My achievements to date include nine solo exhibitions and
over forty collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, I have a title Artiste FIAP La Fdration
Internationale de l'Art Photographique. In my photo montage I often use paper, clay, bricks and
ceramic forms prepared by myself. I create from them the scenery and by playing with the light I
try to get an interesting abstracts, which imbue a specific mood of composition of light and shadow
in the plane of the frame. My worlds even if habited by people are dominated by shapes, shadows
and lights. These worlds are alien to them.

 UNITED STATES

Victoria Siemer (a.k.a. Witchoria) is a Brooklyn-based American graphic artist who focuses mainly
on photo manipulation using Photoshop. She goes by the moniker "Witchoria" because "digital
manipulation has given me the ability to create my own alternate realities where anything is
possible. Sometimes it feels like magic. Her inspirations come from the idea of "emotional
fragmentation or fragmentation of the self". Since she had no formal photography training, she
paid close attention to others, including artist and former roommate Jeff Brown and street
photographer Dave Krugman. It was only more recently that Siemer has begun to call herself an
artist, rather than a designer.

Siemer's works include Geometric Reflections (digitally-altered landscapes) and her Human Error
series, in which the artist "digitally overlays an existential or lovelorn computerized error message
over a scanned Polaroid." Geometric Reflections features landscapes that have had their
reflections manipulated and turned. In her Waves and Galaxies set, she manipulates mugs and
teacups so that they hold the ocean or a galaxy. Illuminated features blunt and harsh quotes that
come from her own mind sitting in various landscapes. Siemer's Wish You Were Here drops a pin
in either an intimate or disastrous photograph while a search bar reads "wish you were here."

In December 2015, Siemer won a Best Visual Design Award at the New York Adobe Creative Jam.

hyperrealistic space that defies the physical laws that govern the world around us. Since the
beginning of 2015, the prague-based graphic designer has been realizing a daily render using
programs like world machine, cinema 4D and octane. each of the compositions intersect nature
and artifice through the meticulous, digital manipulation of earthly environments, suggesting
surreal interventions by unnatural, alien elements a parasitic cluster of pink balloons looms over
an icy lagoon; a mammoth, cone-shaped rock formation pierces the ground from above; glossy,
crystalline orbs hover above jagged cliffs. the highly-detailed quality of the rendered artworks offer
a realistic survey and the possibility of impossible landscapes and scenes.

Lithuania-based artist Ceslovas Cesnakevicius (1978) has created a whimsical set of photo
manipulations that ride that fine line between art and photography. It may be hard to believe but all
of his images start with photos. Each of his works have that light and lovely feeling about them.

Richard Sammour studied cinematography, a discipline that shaped his passion for light and
exposure in photography. His winning first prize in a photographic competition in university was a
turning point in his career as a photographer. Working for a variety of publications, he
concentrated on conceptual photography in his artistic practice. His creative process incorporates
manipulation and Photoshop with many layers; he maintains that this is the expression of how he
sees the world, through a different, maybe slightly dark, vision.

Through the usage of a variety of symbols, such as tree, phalluses, stars, birds, Sammour wishes
to bring the audience beyond the surface of his images, to a deeper understanding of its imagery

 ITALY

I am an italian photographer, born in Rome. Graduated in 2009 in Disciplines of Arts

and Cinema, in the same year I started to travel in Europe and in America, taking
pictures and making experiences.
My first exhibition was in 2010, since then my pictures were shown in several italian
galleries. In 2012 I published my first book, Fuori dalla caverna, with notes and
pictures of my travels and at the end of the same year I began my most important
project, "Urban Melodies", where I depict, through superimpositions, an
abstract vision of urban scenes from modern metropolis like Rome, New York, Paris,
Berlin and many others. In 2013 I won Abstracta Festival with the picture "There is a
light that never goes out" and the year after I won another prize in Urban International
Photo Contest. In 2015 I made other projects like "Roma Coast to Coast", a 21km
walking trip through my city, and I finished my first 365 Project on Instagram.
In 2016 I realized the second part of my "Roma Coast to Coast" and I received a
honorable mention at International Photographer of the Year Awards and another at
Fine Art Photography Awards.
