As many may not know, there are so many religions spread throughout all of Australia.

With Roman Catholicism being the number one religions in australia,61.1% of people consider

themselves Christian, and about 25.3% of people practice Catholicism. Along with Anglicanism,

other Christian, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and no religion. Religions can originate in many

different place, In Australia, it first started with the arrival of the first fleet of British convicts in

1788, and spread massively from there. This was taking place in Botany Bay.

Religion has done such good things for the social development of Australia, this is

because so many of the people believe n the same customs that it really brought everyone

together very well. In Australia, they celebrate Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ.

Christian churches have played an important rod in the development of education as well, along

with welfare and health services, many students attend church affiliated schools, and ghee roman

catholic church is the largest provider of health and education in Australia.

There are many sacred sites in Australia. The pinnacles, Baiame, Wilpena Pound, the blue

mountains, and Myth are the most popular sacred places in Australia. Going along with

Christianity, there sacred places are mostly churches. There are so many churches in Australia, it

is crazy. A few names of churches in Australia are Glenguarie Anglican Church, Presbyterian

Church of Australia, and the most popular is the Hillsong Church. Hillsong church is actually

where the most popular Christian band Hillsong originated from.

There are not many connections between the government and religion in Australia. The

normal ones being the mortality issues, and personal beliefs on planned parenthood and such.

Along with this comes sexuality as well and the rights to alcohol and drugs. It is very important

the church and state is church and state or more issues will come about. And with this Australia

is very much about church and state.

 Overall I think it is Australia is an amazing country, and I think that Christianity is an

amazing religion. Being a Christian myself I am very well educated on the religion and am very

happy to say it is the number one religion on Australia. There are many amazing churches in

Australia and places for worship and well as places for peace which is amazing as well.
