on their interests. These activities are set up for the students to
explore with. Therefore, I chose to teach them a concept that is
based on their interests. I have also incorporated hands on
activities.

level.

Differentiation:
Behavior needs: Any students with behavior needs will be
encouraged to engage in the lesson. If they continue to have
issues, I will ask them to leave the carpet and go back to their
desk to lesson from there. One student will be given a pipe
cleaner to help with her behavior, because she needs something
in her hand.
Ability levels: In order to make sure that everyone understands, I
will be going at a pace that is appropriate for everyone in my
class. I will repeat questions and reword questions as needed.
Cultural differences: This lesson meets the needs of all students
in the group. It is relevant to their lives and is developmentally
appropriate.
If someone is having trouble with the concept, I will work with
him or her during small group. I will also use different teaching
strategies to assist their learning.

Formative Assessment/Evaluation:
Anecdotal notes: I will be taking observations and notes as they are working.
