Here is a peek at what we will be

learning this week!
Whats happening?
-AzMerit testing is right around the corner! It is crucial for
your child to feel confident and relaxed! Please put these
Math: Students will learn to compare and classify
dates in your calendar. My hope is that all students can come
polygons. They will also solve problems by drawing
polygons with specified attributes. We will use tetronimoes to school having had a healthy breakfast, a good night of rest,

English Language Arts: This week we wrap up our unit on April 12th - Math Part 1
European Exploration of North America. Students will April 19th - Math Part 2
finish writing a 5 paragraph opinion essay on the explorer
Your child has already started to explore
that is most interesting to them. We will take our end of the
unit assessments, after working to review our grammar

skills! the classroom, and we will continue to practice the online
tools and assessments. It never hurts to review it at home!
