HEADQUARTER / MAIN OFFICE / HEAD OFFICE where the principal office of
the company is located
TURNOVER = SALES (e.g. Sales are increasing or decreasing)
ANNUAL REPORT = (Memoria) Report of the companys activities presented at
the Annual Shareholder Meeting (AGM)
PROFIT = the positive difference between a companys income and expenses
LOSS = the negative difference between a companys income and expenses
PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT (GB) / INCOME STATEMENT (US) = The annual
report of a companys incomes and expenses and the resulting difference
BALANCE SHEET = Report of a companys ASSETS and LIABILITIES (AND
CAPITAL)
ASSETS (+) = All the things that a company possesses (and uses to produce
income)
LIABILITIES (-) = All the things that a company owes (must pay.negatives!)
CAPITAL = EQUITY = THE MONEY INVESTED BY SHAREHOLDERS IN A
