Dear Ms. Cherbak-Boyd:

Thank you so very much for being my mentor for the senior project! Im so very happy to have
gotten to have you as a teacher, an advisor, and a great role model to a mere aspiring artist
such as myself. Youve given me plenty of time to ask questions and work on my illustrations, as
well as assisted me greatly in learning how to prepare a story for a book.

In regards to your expertise and guidance, I gained a much greater amount of experience and
understanding of what is needed to produce a childrens book, or any book for that matter on
your own accord. Your knowledge of illustration and being an illustrator yourself was incredibly
useful for planning and production, which aided me greatly when placing pages together, getting
it ready for printing, and making sure all else was brilliantly in order.

In the end, Im grateful for the wonderful experience and mentorship you have given me over
the years, from Drawing and Painting, to AP Studio Art, to even now, where I Peer Tutor for you
in Digital Photography. I have learned so much and vastly improved my view of visual arts as a
whole, and I really wish to thank you for that. I hope someday in the future we could work on
another project like this! Thank you, ever so greatly again, for your passion of your craft,
support, and ever-helpful guidance.
