DEAR RESIDENT: ‘The City of Hudson’s Snow Emergency Plan is now law! If you have traveled our narrow streets in the worst of snowstorms, then hopefully you'll understand what the City had in mind when this legislation was crafted. Please familiarize yourself with the procedures, as your cooperation is not only appreciated, but essential. Si fartin Hamilton, Mayor Snow Emergency Plan - Most commonly asked questions? 1. Q) How will 1know when it ‘A) Listen to your local radio stations (ex: WHUC 1230AM; THE CAT 98.5FM; CRUISIN’ 93.5FM; WGY 810AM) OR LOCAL TV Station Channel 6, 10, 13, or cell City Hall at phone # 828-9458. 2. Q) What do I do Next? A) Then proceed to move your vehicle to the side it belongs (under the alternate street parking regulations) at 12 o'clock midnight. (Ex.: on Dec. 2™ at 8:00AM a snow emergency is called, you would then need to move ‘your vehicle at that time to the odd side of the stroet, again following the alternate street parking regulations as at midnight it would be Dec. 3°.) icle dQ A) Of course, you can move your vehicle at anytime, however if you choose to Ieave it parked, it must be moved 24 hours from the time the Emergency was called, (Ex.: If called at 8:00AM on Dec. 2, then you must switch sides at 8:00AM on Dec, 3") After 48 hours have elapsed from the initial designated time, the Snow Emergency shell terminate. If conditions require an extension, you will be notified again using TV, Radio, ete. 4. Q) What times will a Snow Emergency be called?
