did not want to be fighting on two fronts if GB and France did go to war over
Poland.
Hitler did not want all of Poland in 1939

take the parts of Poland as well as other land Stalin gained from the Pact.

Britain will choose to be included in the Treaty of
Versailles.

You will now meet with the other countries. You


must agree on each term of the Treaty of
Versailles.
You will have 3 minutes to discuss and agree on
each term
Germany lost the war and so is not allowed to
speak
If the other three countries cannot agree in the
three minutes then Germany will get to choose.

What should be done about the German armed forces?
Force Germany to get rid of all its troops, weapons and
vehicles (ships, tanks, planes etc) so that it is left with
nothing
Leave the Germans with a very small army of 100,000 men.
They can only have 36 ships and cannot have any tanks,
submarines or aircraft. Conscription is not allowed (forcing
men to join the army)
Keep the German armed forces fairly strong so that
Germany can fight against Communism. They can have
250,000 soldiers, 50 ships, and all their tanks, submarines
and planes.

empire?
Take away some of Germanys most important
colonies (countries that it rules) and give them to
Britain, France and America. Germany can continue
to rule the rest.
