RESEARCH DISSERTATION
A Critical Analysis of Curricular Reforms in Technical Education in Irish Second Level
Education: Historical Perspectives and Future Projections.
This dissertation analysis the development of technical education from the 1850s and
investigates curricular reform and how the new Junior Cycle can be implemented into the
technical subjects, which will begin in 2019.
