speedy relay men used to deliver orders and commands to the
platoons squads.

The US Rifle Platoon Command is the leadership

element for the US Rifle Platoon. It is also responsible for
communication within and outside of the Rifle Platoon. When
playing multi-player scenarios the Runners communicate with
the platoons individual squads. However, it is the radio that

A US Rifle Platoon is triangular in that it is com-
posed of three US Rifle Squads. The five men of the US Rifle
Platoon Command are responsible for the leadership and com-
munications of the Rifle Platoon. A Late War US Rifle Platoon
may at times have other teams or units attached to it on the
battlefield (like .30 Cal MMG Teams for example).
There are five men in the US Rifle Platoon Com-
mand: Platoon Leader, a Platoon Sergeant, a Radio Operator,
and two Runners. Every individual man plays a key role in
the leadership and communication mission of the team for its
Rifle Platoon. The Platoon Leader is the senior leader of the
US Rifle Platoon. Typically a junior officer (2nd Lieutenant),
the Platoon Leader is the one guy in the Rifle Platoon whom
is in charge. This is a tall task as the Platoon Leader must lead US Platoon Command Costs
