A) Appropriatefunctionalizationoftheswimmerswithfunctionalentitiesusedin
chemiluminescentanalyticalassays(HorseradishPeroxidase)willbeexploredin
ordertotesttheswimmersystemsfordetectingandmeasuringanalytesinan
microenvironment.
B) Thefunctionalizationofswimmerswithcatalyticsites(appropriateenzymes)will
allowtocatalyzechemicalreactionsattheswimmerslocationandtotriggerlocalself
organizationsuchasthepHinducedselforganizationofoligopeptidegelators(3)
C) Thebehaviorofmicroswimmersatliquid/liquidphaseboundarieswillbestrongly
dependentoninterfacialpropertiesbothoftheliquidcomponentsbutalsoonthe
solidliquidinteractionsbetweenswimmersurfacesandsurroundingliquids.Of
particularinterestisthetransferofswimmersacrosslipidmembranebilayers
separatingtwoaqueouscontainments.Appropriatemembranesystemsshouldbe
realizedaccordingtomethodsdescribedinliterature(4,5)
