In many counties, there is no actual barrier to women going into careers

such as engineering and politics but they are still male dominated. It is a
problem that women are underrepresented in this careers?

This is a man's world As the song says. But no It is a world in which we

must have equal opportunities and rights. On 10 September 1948 United Nations
adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which says that all human
beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Even so, there is a problem that
women are underrepresented in careers such as engineering and politics etc.
Women now make up half the national workforce, earn more college and
graduate degrees than men. Yet the gender gap in science persists, to a greater
degree than in other professions, particularly in medicine and medical researches.
During the history women were trained just in traditional methods of physical care
that involved little knowledge of medicine, due to this situation most of the medical
researchers were made by men and in most of the cases on mens bodies. Cancer
and heart attacks, among many other conditions, affect the sexes in different ways,
and so require different medical care. Elizabeth Blackwell (18211910) became the
first woman to formally study and practice medicine in the United States. She was a
leader in women's medical education and also improved medical care for women.
The second argument is that we live in a world where majority decide, the
majority is represented by men, how can they make the right decision if they dont
know the other opinion and here I want to point to political class. There are many
countries where women represent approximately 50% of the population and just a
few of them are involved in politics. Countries where women are better represented
politically have a better standard of living. Women are best placed to develop and
promote laws that protect their own interests and the interests of their children.
Therefore, countries in which women are involved in the legislative process and
decision-making areas have highly developed education and social assistance and
performance.
Religion and biology tell that women and men are different and each one is
made for something different. Some religions give more freedom to females,
while others are still largely patriarchal and male-centric in nature historically
in many cultures women are seen as the weaker sex, both because they
have been relegated to less powerful social roles and because biologically,
women tend to have less muscle mass and to be less intelligent but
according to statistics women now outperform man on IQ test.

We were genetically arranged so that it took both male and female to create
human life. We are gloriously opposite enough that each has an equally defining
role in whether or not society achieves balance. Without balance there is chaos and
my opinion is a problem that women are unrepresented in all aspects of life.
