Should Buddhism be made the state religion of

Ami and Aun dont think its is the good idea to made Thailand the state
religion because it will limit minority peoples right and make them uncomfortable to
live in our country. Being the state religion means that the religion will be included
into the rules and politics and that may be something that unfair to others people
who respect different religion and they may not satisfy with it. We think that if the
buddhism is not the state religions of Thailand, it will be better for Thai people to use
their own right to choose to respect any religion they want. If buddhism became the
state religion of Thailand, we may face the problem as there was in Pakistan and
India in the past. There was conflict between the Muslims and Hindus in India
because the India had Hindus leader and the rules are made for all the Hindus. That
cause plenty of problem to India and also the Partation into India and Pakistan.
Another reason, Huge problems that Thailand is facing now is 3 province at the
southern part of Thailand. One of the main cause that make this problem happen is
religious. Southern part of Thailand connect to Malaysia so most of the people got
influence from islam. Therere riot that Thai government suspect that it cause by
agitator who are muslims. The problem last for more than 10 years already and we
still cant find the way to end this. From the quotes Also driving anti-Muslim

2004. we can see that if we made Buddhism as state religion, its the same as we
put more wood into the fire that already big. While Mind thinks that its quite a good
idea to make Thailand becomes the state religion. People in the country are not
neccessary to be Buddhisms, but they have to admit that the state is having a style
of government that related to Bhuddism idea. If you are not happy to be in this state,
you are welcomed to leave. She thinks that if Thailand becomes the state of
Bhuddism, Thailand might become even more well known by people all around the
world and have more people come to visit the beauty of Buddhism in Thailand. In our
country, its already known as a country that has a long history about Buddhism from
most of the historical sites in Thailand like temples and museum. So, it is not a weird
thing to change Thailand to be the state of religion. Moreover, she believes that the
economics within the country will be improved. But, from one of the saying in the
article that says, "That's why Buddhists have been uneasy and feel the need to
protect their religion," She feels like it is not that thing that is matter. What is matter is
how to drive Thailand to be a better country by using Bhuddism to rule country and
make everyone lives togther peacefully inside this country.
